Emergency Dentistry
What to Expect
An unexpected toothache or injury usually happens during the ‘off hours’ of life, such as the middle of the night, during a vacation, or while away from home. We understand that life can throw us some curveballs! Our team at SMA Dental offers emergency family dental care and same day dentistry. Our goal is to relieve you of any pain, immediately!
What is Emergency Dentistry?

Aside from an unexpected dental injury, such as a dislodged, cracked, or chipped tooth, sudden pain may be an indication. Other indications include:
Swelling, redness or painful gums
Sudden inflammation in the gums or mouth
Moderate to intense dental pain
